Lindsay DeHaas, MSW, LSW
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, with a minor in Psychology, from Malone University in 2010, and my Master of Social Work in 2014 from the University of Akron. I received my social work licensure in 2016. I have provided direct care to children, adolescents and adults with diverse challenges involving mental health, developmental disabilities, domestic violence, substance abuse, foster care and adoption, and childhood physical & sexual abuse and neglect. Throughout my career working as a case manager and social services worker, I have developed a deep compassion for people who have experienced trauma, and a passion for helping each person realize the strengths they hold which helped them survive that trauma. Learning to thrive is a process, and it takes great courage and strength to be willing to process past trauma experiences. I look forward to walking alongside you as you take the next step forward in learning to thrive.
Kristina Fryson, MSW, LSW, CTT
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Virginia State University in 2006 and my Master of Social Work in 2014 from West Virginia University. In my internships, education, and work experience I spent 5 years working for non-profit agencies providing services such as therapy, case management, and support to children, individuals, and families in the office, home, school and community settings. Through my work in the community, serving five counties in WV, I developed a strong awareness about the challenges individuals and families face dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other trauma related issues. I became a Certified Trauma Therapist in 2016 and have worked with various populations treating the trauma and not the symptoms. I look forward to continuing trauma work through the Thrive Trauma Recovery program and helping people to not only survive but Thrive!
