Encompass belongs to a trauma-informed family of ministries with Christian Children’s Home of Ohio (CCHO) and Encourage Foster Care that has served youth and families for more than 50 years. This gives Encompass therapists and case managers, a team of 50+ clinical staff, access to complementary client services including adolescent psychiatric care, equine therapy, residential treatment and more.

Carla and John Plegge are celebrating 30 years of service to CCHO and our family of ministries. This milestone, affectionately known as the Pleggacy, includes bringing equine therapy to the residential campus and then to the general public at One Heart Stables.
Today we celebrate Encompass Regional Director Lisa Haberbusch, MSW, LISW-S for being recognized as Social Worker of the Year for the Mansfield to Canton service region. We are grateful for her leadership as well as heart for others.
Encompass Christian Counseling opened a new office in Green this past spring. Expanding to the larger office suite allows us our clinical team to grow as we care for the mental health needs in Summit and Stark County communities.
