The Building Hope Capital Campaign has been a dream for many years. The mental health and foster care needs in Stark County has continued to increase, yet our current facility’s restrictions and size limitations make it impossible to increase our capacity.
The Massillon Encompass Christian Counseling office is located at 7317 Portage Street NW in Jackson Township. It is a one-story ranch house that was built in 1957. Although it has served countless clients for the past 20 years, the county’s needs have outgrown the facility.
Campaign Priorities
The Current Office
The Massillon Encompass office is currently a one-story house built in 1957. Although we have continuously renovated the building to make the space usable for our needs, there are only seven therapy offices, minimal parking available for clients, flooding, electrical problems and issues that disrupt the flow of counseling sessions.
Our Vision For The New Office
The new facility will offer larger, more therapeutic offices, allowing us to better care for the mental health and foster care demands in Stark and surrounding counties. It will help facilitate growth across our entire family of ministries, impacting multiple communities and helping more people experience their worth in Christ.
INCREASE OUR
IMPACT BY 50%
-
Grow from 7 to 16 clinicians which more than doubles the number of clients we can help per year
-
Increase in clinicians will make it possible to expand counseling services into more schools in Stark and surrounding counties.
NEW LIFE
SKILLS ROOM
-
Includes a life skills room to work with clients on basic living skills so they are better prepared to integrate into the community
BETTER
ACCESSIBILITY
-
Provide better accessibility to allow a wider range of clients that we can help
NEW TRAINING
& GROUP ROOM
-
Large training room will provide opportunities to host foster parents training sessions as well as group therapy sessions
Our Vision
Building a larger, more therapeutic office will allow us to better care for the mental health and foster care demands in Stark and surrounding counties. It will also help facilitate growth across our entire family of ministries and allow us to help more people experience their worth in Christ.
"The caring staff and the amount of attention given to match each client with just the right therapist is priceless. I highly recommend Encompass to others. God bless you all."
