Building Hope is more than a capital campaign. Building Hope is an answer to a mental health crisis in Stark and surrounding counties. The Building Hope Campaign is a 2.5-million-dollar initiative to construct a new Encompass Christian Counseling and Encourage Foster Care facility. The new facility will more than double the current size of Encompass Christian Counseling and provide vital mental health resources to the area.

Due to our current facility’s size, our waiting list can be upwards of 100 people, and people in need are referred to other counties or forced to wait for the mental health services they so desperately require.  It is in our ability to impact lives, families and communities – to allow us to better care for the mental health and foster care demands in Stark and surrounding counties. Together, we can help more people experience their worth in Christ.

    Campaign Priorities

Since its inception over 20 years ago, the Massillon Encompass location has provided services in a house that was built in 1956. Due to the tremendous growth in outpatient mental health counseling and substance use treatment, Encompass needs a larger, more therapeutic space to better meet the needs of clients.

    How You Can Help

Thanks to The Christ Foundation, we have a $900,000 matching grant gift challenge. Until December 31, 2025, every gift we receive, up to $900,000 will go twice as far to help impact lives, families, and communities through Encompass Christian Counseling.
